And so it begins...

In about two days myself and 25 others from Glen Ellyn Bible Church will be down in La Paz, Mexico for a week long adventure helping out a missionary family from our church. Our students will be doing anything from painting to putting up fencing, to playing with kids in local neighborhoods. I am so excited to see and hear what GOD is going to do on this trip.

There is a certain buzz about this trip. Talking with the students and leaders there is an excitement I have not experienced before with a group of high school students. We are all excited to see what is going to happen. The students have their expectations but more then anything our hearts desire is to see His Kingdom advance in the city of La Paz and that is really exciting.

I should be able to update this often, so check back for some more pictures and updates from our trip. Until then please be praying for these things:

1. Safe travels down to La Paz

2. Good health for the week

3. The Holy Spirit would give us what we "need" for this week and not what we "want"

4. Unity with our students.
